Over the years The Lobster Pot has developed in to a renowned seafood restaurant. In 2004 long serving chefs Steffan & Wendy Coupe took over the business. As from the very beginning emphasis is still placed on fresh local produce and a friendly informal family atmosphere. Local lobsters and crabs are fresh daily. Oysters are from the Menai Straits so too are the mussels. Scallops and prawns are delivered almost daily from our local supplier

Winkles are picked at low tide from the bay and are freshly boiled and served in the bar as a complimentary appetizer. Meat eaters need not worry as we have a selection of the finest quality beef steaks, lamb, chicken and pork all supplied from locally sourced meat from award winning E.T. Jones butchers in Bodedern. The Lobster Pot has two dining rooms a bar area and a comfortable coffee lounge (with a coal fire in the colder months) where diners may relax after their meal. Also in good weather meals may be served in our garden complete with it’s own stream running through. Lobsters and crabs can be viewed in the tanks next door after your meal. A great experience for adults and children. Are you brave enough to hold a live lobster!? The Lobster Pot is situated in Church Bay one of the most beautiful spots on the scenic island of Anglesey. Church Bay also boasts a blue flag beach aswell as outstanding coastal walks. Church Bay is part of the Anglesey Coastal Path. 125 miles of diverse coastal scenery. 95% of which is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is also a great place for birdwatchers and wildlife watchers alike. Just across the road from the Lobster Pot is a fascinating museum called Swtan. A thatched crofting longhouse which has been completely restored and now gives a fascinating insight into life in the 19th century. www.swtan.co.uk We also cater for private parties, christenings informal weddings, funerals etc. We also have two self– catering accommodation available.
